Another costume sewn for me by my best friend’s mother. By this time I was in love with the character and wanted to make all of her outfits! All of the gems were made in a button maker. I would then hand paint the gold on each. It was an interesting idea, but not one I would use again, The gold paint would stick to the pleather belt and pull off while the buttons weren’t strong enough not to pop open. I would love to redo this costume at some point with the skills I have acquired since then.
