My very first cosplay costume. My best friend’s mother had sewn Eva school uniforms and was sweet enough to make me this one. My necktie is yellow, like the manga, not orange, like the anime.
My first wig was from a wig store downtown, since my mother wouldn’t let me order online. At the time, long, “party color” wigs couldn’t be found with bangs. So I was ecstatic to eventually find a wig online, with poorly cut bangs that I had to curl under so they wouldn’t be stick straight.
